Created in collaboration with young people participating in Born in Bradford’s project, BiB Age of Wonder, a seven-year study capturing the journey through adolescence and adulthood for all teenagers in Bradford, to create a detailed picture of every aspect of what it’s like to grow up in the district.
The phrase expresses the participants’ conviction that activities and services for young people should be created and delivered in collaboration with them, rather than simply being presented to them.
They were invited to help print the mural for an exhibition during Born in Bradford’s conference in Salts Mill in July 2023.
The work was later recreated for the People Powered Press’ major exhibition in Salts Mill in 2024. See more here. [LINK NEEDED]
