She is currently living in Saltaire, where she is a part time permaculture educator, while living well with long term health challenges. She started learning about permaculture in her early twenties as a way of finding positive solutions to heal and regenerate Earth and her communities. In 2011 she undertook a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) with the late Patrick Whitefield at Ragmans Farm, and then in 2013 completed a second PDC - Earth Activist Training - with Starhawk in Cazadero, California. In 2015 she completed the Permaculture Association (Britain) Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. In the same year she completed a course run by Looby Macnamara and Peter Cow, in people-focused permaculture design facilitation and she commenced her training to become a tutor for the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. She writes regular articles and reviews for several publications, including Permaculture Magazine and the Permaculture Women Magazine.
